The SKIN DEEP exhibition focuses on a striking set of photographs that take – or make – intriguing compositions from the starting point of a facade or outer surface of a building. Some are near-abstract, others more descriptive, and all of the images explore how the ‘visual capital’ of our environment is subtly grown and aggregated by building surfaces. The works are from VIEW, a leading architectural library representing photographers noted for their deep sensitivity to materials, forms and textures.
