Crossrail, the new east to west railway, will run across 40 stations with public spaces above ground property developments. It will integrate with station designs and improve the user experience for the travelling public when it opens in 2019.
The Places & Spaces exhibition incorporates the proposed urban realms and developments outside stations along the Crossrail route. The route will include 10 new stations and upgrades to several other existing ones. You will see designs for improved spaces and developments from outside stations in London and beyond.
This is the first time an exhibition on urban realm and development outside Crossrail’s stations across Greater London has been shown to the public. See the designs and explore the models in the Main Gallery.
