UK-China Industrial Heritage Reuse and Regeneration Forum

Forum
Wed 29 Apr 2015

As China enters a new era of development, the Chinese government is seeking to create a diversified and resilient economy which draws on knowledge, creativity and culture. In the wake of their growth, some Chinese cities have left behind substantial industrial building legacies which are embedded in rich culture and history, as a result the Chinese government is working to ensure that these cities lead an enlightened cultural path of regeneration.

The forum is an opportunity to exchange ideas on the current issues facing city regeneration in China. Hear from Chinese representatives from development companies, urban planners, architects and academics about regeneration strategies.
