The seventh event in the series will be delivered by Katy Marks, founder of Citizens Design Bureau.
Katy Marks has extensive experience working with complex listed buildings and on projects with diverse, creative communities at their core. She shares the practice’s South Hill Park terrace project in Hampstead, Camden. The project is a study in how being in a sensitive heritage environment impacts how we approach environmental and energy efficiency improvements. Katy discusses the approaches to retrofit for a mid-century (built 1956) listed house, constructed on the site of World War II bomb damage in a conservation area. She also talks about the history and ethos of the terrace.
