This workshop has been cancelled and may be rescheduled for a later date.
Playtime is a children's workshop created by the Museum of Architecture that will explore the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale British Pavilion by the curators Manijeh Verghese and Madeleine Kessler. The workshop will cover how architects design playgrounds by observing, asking questions and being imaginative so that participants can create their own designs!
Taking inspiration from one of the pavilion's themes 'play', children will build a 1:1 interactive structure and create a model to take home. The workshop will help them understand how they can have a role in shaping our city.
This workshop is for children aged 5-12 years old. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. £7 per child and their accompanying adults go free!
This installation of The Garden of Privatised Delights is made possible by the Built Environment Trust with support from the British Council, the Architectural Association School of Architecture and the Museum of Architecture.
