While many people think of Chinese craft as silk scarfs, blue and white porcelain, bamboo and wood carvings, young artisans are changing this perception by creating work that goes beyond tradition. See contemporary performances with handmade leather shadow puppets, crossover in ceramics, and 3D printing design technology with handcraft ceramics, as part of the London Craft Week 2017 exhibition, curated by Caroline Cheng.
