Use LinkedIn to improve your effectiveness in specification sales.
Specification sales have become increasingly challenging in an industry where architects appear disinterested and set up barriers to your sales people. Sales teams in construction are taking to LinkedIn to assist them in finding and approaching architects, but many are finding that this technique has negative side effects and can backfire.
This afternoon workshop looks at the specifying architect as a target audience, explains why they are resistant to sales approaches and how the internet can assist sales people if they use it correctly. We then focus on LinkedIn, investigating its benefits and challenges and provide in depth advice on how best to use it for prospecting, relationship initiation and development.
The interactive workshop will also cover recent changes to LinkedIn and the challenges and opportunities they offer.
Topics covered include:
- What are Architects Like?
- When to contact an Architect
- How LinkedIn Works
- Recent LinkedIn Changes
- Finding your Audience
- Connecting Strategies
- Profile Techniques
- Conversations
Participants will receive an illustrated workbook containing all the notes and links from the session and in which to record and develop thoughts and strategies during and after the session.
Cost: £150 +VAT Refreshments included.
