Research and development is yielding many exciting new concrete products, source materials and manufacturing techniques. These have the potential to significantly alter or enhance the properties of concrete products for use in housing development – from the use of AI and digital technology to graphene-enhanced concrete.
Decarbonisation is a major focus of the UK cement and concrete industry, supporting the development of resilient Net Zero Carbon homes. This webinar, organised by the Concrete Centre, explores some of the innovation associated with the design, construction and manufacture of new homes using concrete. It features exemplars of recent residential projects achieved using digitally co-ordinated design and installation techniques to reduce waste, risk, cost and build time, including the use of digital twin track-and-trace technology.
The webinar includes presentations and time for Q&A with the audience.
