Join this one-day workshop on community-led residential projects to learn about the alternatives to the mainstream housing market. The workshop will draw from the experience of experts involved in self-build and co-designed projects, offering advice on:

• Politics - how the local authorities work
• Legal issues - land disposal, procurement and competitive dialogue
• Finances and funding for your project
• Building a professional team
• Deciding and allocating who lives in the homes
• Ongoing networking

RUSS will be running the workshop sharing the lessons they have learnt working with other aspiring community groups, students and housing practitioners. They will also share insight on the upcoming Church Grove Project in Lewisham, London.
