Friday 1 March, 1.15pm - 1.45pm
Forest of Fabrication is an exhibition that presents engineered timber as a defining material of 21st Century architecture through 24 projects of Stirling Prize winning practice dRMM.
dRMM Director Philip Marsh's guided tour focused around the studio’s education projects, exploring how innovative design can be employed to both help and inspire future generations. Projects featured included Kingsdale School, the first public building in the UK to use CLT, and Wintringham Primary Academy, a two-story school building commissioned by Cambridge County Council with classrooms clustered ‘in the round’.
This event is part of the Forest of Fabrication exhibition and events programme, curated by the Building Centre exhibitions team and dRMM, and supported by The Built Environment Trust.
