Transport accounts for around 20 per-cent of London's energy consumption with nearly half of that coming from cars and motorbikes. This event will explore the choices that need to be made to achieve the carbon targets of 2050: what are the most likely technologies and how do we persuade people to change their transport habits? How do we quantify the impacts of transport, energy and health? What are the political challenges when retrofitting an ageing city infrastructure to making policy that is fair and accessible to all?
