For London to be competitive and successful for all communities, it needs to be a city where creativity can flourish. This means building in opportunities for children, young people and families to play, learn and create.
Continuing NLA’s look at what placemaking means for London, this breakfast talk will examine how to better incorporate opportunities for play and creativity for young people into development and regeneration in the capital.
With the public sector now less able to fund play spaces, and with the majority of growth and regeneration planned for outer London, what is the scale of opportunity to increase the way we engage young Londoners in development? How can the built environment encourage young people to engage more with arts and culture?
