This conference will explore how craft engages with modern and contemporary architecture through the interiors and exteriors of buildings and the spaces between buildings. It will enable a reflection on the ways that architecture makes demands of craft and its makers, or even rejects craft.
Speakers include:
– Piers Taylor, architect and founder of Invisible Studio
– Roz Barr, director at Roz Barr Architects
– Petra Blaisse, lead-designer and founder of Inside Outside
Event ends at 5.30pm.
* Tickets must be purchased in advance directly from the Crafts Study Centre on 01252 891450 or craftscentre@uca.ac.uk
The conference is organised by the University for the Creative Arts and supported by The Built Environment Trust, The Building Centre and The Journal of Modern Craft.
