For World Environment Day the Building Centre would like to invite the public, students and friends of the Centre to visit the Retrofit 23 exhibition and engage with information and activities linked to retrofitting homes at Café Retrofit.
Come with a curious mind and some questions for our retrofit experts! There will be an opportunity to explore materials and products, look at new innovations in the retrofit of buildings, and talk with Professor David Glew from the Leeds Sustainability Institute, Tom Lipinski, the founder of Q-Bot (retrofitting robots!) and staff from ARUP.
We’d also like to hear from you as we explore the question, ‘Where do we start?’ This is a big question when it comes to climate-proofing our homes for the future.
