VBriQ+ Lite

The VBriQ+ Lite system from Alumasc Facades comprises VBriQ+ clay brick slips on Alumasc Lite grey EPS insulation. The VBriQ+ Lite system provides a cost-effective way of replicating traditional brick constructions and meeting current thermal performance requirements in low-rise applications.

The VBriQ+ Lite system comprises the following components:

• VBriQ+ clay brick slips
• VBriQ+ Mortar Adhesive
• Alumasc Scrim Adhesive
• VBriQ+ Reinforcement Template
• Alumasc insulation fixing
• Alumasc Lite grey EPS insulation
• Alumasc Bedding Adhesive
• Substrate

VBriQ+ Lite is an EWI system that is used to provide a traditional brick finish as part of a lightweight, durable and cost-effective system for low-rise applications. The VBriQ+ clay brick slip system can be manufactured to replicate almost any brick type and used in conjunction with a range of mortar colours to achieve the design intent of the architect.
 

Key Performance Criteria

• Thermal performance: Typical U Values are:
• 90 mm Lite insulation ~ 0.30 W/m2K
• 120 mm Lite insulation ~ 0.25 W/m2K
• 160 mm Lite insulation ~ 0.19 W/m2K

Aesthetics

• VBriQ+ can be manufactured to virtually any UK brick specification
• VBriQ slips can be supplied in a number of size formats
• Excellent impact resistance makes VBriQ+ ideal for low level areas and feature bands
• Hard-wearing and low maintenance finish
• Highly resistant to frost damage

Applications

• Masonry substrates
• New build or refurbishment projects
• Suitable for use on low-rise buildings (i.e. less than 18 m in height)
• Can also be used in conjunction with Silkolitt Lite to create feature bands
