Dreadnought's new range of rustic tiles are available in all the sandfaced Dreadnought natural clay colours from reds and browns through to brindles and blues. Suitable for both renovation projects and newbuilds, they have a rustic, sanded finish and feature a distressed tail edge to give a soft effect and produce a highly attractive roof.
Dreadnought's Red rustic tiles are made of exactly the same clay as all the other shades, íncluding the Staffordshire Blue. The red colour is achieved in the kiln by careful control of the kiln atmosphere. While other manufacturers use applied stains and coloured sands to produce their colour, Dreadnought believes in the beauty of natural true clay colour, achieved through careful control of the firing process.
