The IKO Pacopatch ironworks reinstatement system is designed to reinstate failing road surfaces, especially around manholes, drainage gullies and other public utilities and ironworks. It can also be used for general patch repairs in roads.
It is a simple, long lasting, two component polymer modified mastic asphalt, consisting of hot applied IKO Pacopatch Grout and cold applied, ready-made IKO Pacopatch Bricks.
The IKO Pacopatch Grout is hot-applied flowable material, which is allowed to encapsulate the pre-formed IKO Pacopatch Brick. This forms a solid, impervious and voidless mass around the ironwork to act as the infill and surfacing material.
The IKO Pacopatch Brick provides dimensional stability to the infill and aids in the overall cooling of the IKO Pacopatch system. IKO Pacopatch Brick can be broken as necessary depending on the shape and size of the reinstatement.
