Helifix crack stitching is a reliable and cost-effective means of repairing and stabilising cracked masonry.
Crack stitching involves bonding stainless steel HeliBars into appropriate bed joints or cut slots in bricks, blocks or stonework, using HeliBond cementitious grout. These products combine to produce an excellent bond within the substrate, resisting tensile loads and minimising any future development of the crack, which may occur with simple injection methods. With this concealed non-disruptive method no additional stresses are introduced as the HeliBars are flexible enough to accommodate normal building movement.
