GSL and GCL Acousticlouvres

Acousticabs Industrial Noise Control Ltd
Acoustilouvres have been designed to combine attractive external appearance and excellent acoustic performance with good weathering properties. They can be matched with nonacoustic weather louvres of identical appearance, ensuring uniformity of appearance on building elevations. They may also be built up into screens and enclosures, using the optional corner pieces and roof panels which are available.

Specifications

Finish/effect/texture
Acoustilouvres are available in powdercoated galvanised steel, pre-coated steel, stainless steel or powdercoated aluminium.
Installation
Acoustilouvres are supplied with a loose frame for front fixing into the face of brickwork. Alternative fixings are available to suit individual requirements - e.g. to ducts and acoustic enclosures.
Optional features
Acoustilouvres are available in standard blade configurations (GSL) 150 and 300mm deep. For enhanced performance a chevron blade configuration is used (GCL) 300 and 600mm deep. Matching non-acoustic louvres and louvred doors are also available (GSL only).
Suitability/use
Typical applications for Acoustilouvres include plant rooms, boiler houses, screening or enclosing of cooling towers and other externally sited air conditioning equipment.
Material(s)
Acoustilouvres are made from pre-galvanised sheet steel channel frames with inset semi-aerofoil blades. Blades are formed from plain steel with an internal core of water repellent acoustic fibre retained with perforated galvanised sheet.
