The ECHO 7000 SERIES NON FIRE RATED is a hinged discreet ceiling access panel with a good performance acoustic rating, typically specified for high end residential and hotel construction projects.
This product has a standard acoustic rating of 21dB, and can be upgraded to achieve an acoustic rating of 33dB with a budget lock. If specified with a push catch lock for a seamless aesthetic finish, an upgraded acoustic rating of 31dB or 34dB can be achieved.

COMPOSITION
The welded metal frame holds a metal door tray that is hinged via fully adjustable concealed hinges and is held closed by either a budget lock or a security key lock.
- The door opens down towards the user. It can be removed to aid installation or if damage occurs
- A constant door gap is maintained between the door and frame by the fully adjustable hinge and dome location system
- Simple means to provide horizontal ceiling access to building services

FRAME
1.2 mm thick, factory welded, electro-galvanised carbon steel with a simulated dry wall edge bead or picture frame profile (retrofit).
- Frame fitted with rubber, compressible gasket to all sides
- White powder coated primer finish.
DOOR
METAL DOOR (MD)
0.9 mm thick, electro-galvanised carbon steel flush door tray fitted with fully adjustable hinges.
- Light weight door: 12kg/m2
- With frame: 1.3kg/linear meter
- Rockwool core door leaf
- Door tray fitted with concealed, fully adjustable hinges
- Single (SD), double (DD) or multi-leaf continuous access (CA) configurations
- Fully powder coated white matt RAL 9010, suitable for finishing on site.
PLASTERBOARD DOOR (PD)
0.9 mm thick, electro-galvanised carbon steel lined with plasterboard and integral bead edge
- White powder coated primer finish.
FRAME EDGE
The 7000-MD is available with a choice of two frame edge profiles to suit your application;
- Beaded frame (BF)
The beaded frame edge profile is suitable for ceilings where the panel is being installed prior to any tape and jointing or skim-coat plastering.
- Picture frame (PF)
The picture frame edge profile is suitable for retro-fit to ceilings where the panel is being installed after finishing work is complete. The panel is factory finished powder coated semi-gloss white so needs no further decoration.
LOCKS
- Fitted with a push catch lock as standard for a discreet, lockless finish
- Concealed budget lock (BL) and security lock (SL) options.

ACOUSTIC SHIELDING
The ECHO 7000 Series non-fire rated ceiling access panel has a standard acoustic rating of 23dB. Profab Access can offer customers an acoustic upgrade option on this product to achieve an acoustic rating of 31dB or 34dB.

All panels are single door except the 1200 x 1200 mm, which is a double door unit.
MIN SIZE
7000 series panels can be manufactured in any size from 200 x 200 mm.
MAX SIZE
There is effectively no upper size limit as larger panels can be manufactured as double door (DS) or multiple door continuous access (CA)
