Plastic Extruders Ltd (Plastex)

Plastex is a leading manufacturer of matting and flooring solutions for problem floor areas. The company’s reputation is based on the very large range of high performance products covering the widest range of performance criteria - entrance soil removal, slip resistance, anti-fatigue and safety/hygiene. Of these, the entrance flooring systems and roof safety walkways are widely specified in the building industry.

The Frontrunner Entrance Flooring System www.frontrunnerplus.com is the high performance system for preventing the ingress of shoe dirt into a building and thereby reducing maintenance. It comprises several mattings which can be used together or individually to provide effective solutions in different locations and for varying degrees of performance. Laid loose or within mat-wells, the all vinyl open-grid construction, yet heel proof, is easy to cut and shape, such as when fitting within revolving doors. The one-piece roll format allows for covering of large areas and the material is flexible enough to allow Frontrunner to be laid over uneven surfaces.

Crossgrip matting www.crossgrip.com is used for permanent external slip resistant roof walkways. Its vinyl roll format means long walkways can be achieved with the minimum of seams. It's large mesh open grid construction is highly slip resistant and resistant to weather and UV. Scientifically tested and proven to remain in position in wind speeds up to 94mph - 150km/h.
