Danfoss entered the heat pump market in the autumn of 2005, when the group purchased the Swedish manufacturer, Thermia, then one of the leading heat pump producers in Europe. Today, Danfoss has established a research and competency centre for heat pump technology at the Swedish factory and is in the process of consolidating its position across the European heat pump market.
