Charnwood Forest Ltd was established in 1887 and become part of the Michelmersh group of comanies in 1999. The Company produces approximately 3 milion facing bricks and special shaped bricks per annum from its manufacturing base at Shepshed, near Loughborough.

Products are manufactured using Keuper Marl clay from a quarry located adjacent to Charnwoods works.

This produces facing bricks and special shaped bricks that exhibit total frost resistance and efflorescence. Sands and stains are applied to the faces of the bricks to create individual colours.
