WPL Limited has been short listed for Transformational Change of the Year at this year’s National Business Awards in partnership with Orange.WPL provides innovative and reliable sewage and wastewater treatment, rainwater harvesting and grease management systems for domestic, commercial and industrial markets, as well as being one of the main suppliers to the UK's water utility companies.

Going up against the likes of Belu Water, Bromford Housing Group, London Early Years Foundation, Michelin Tyre Public Ltd and National Grid, WPL will battle it out for the prestigious award.

Charles Ward (COO, Intellect), judge for this category said: “Faced with a maturing market WPL has taken a 360 degree approach to seeking improvements across the operation which have collectively delivered a transformation evidenced by solid results”.

Managing director Richard Gundry explains, “Through the difficult economic conditions of the last few years, everyone has worked very hard to achieve the level of growth which has been key to our recent success.  WPL has a policy of acknowledging the efforts of its staff, but to gain external recognition and be nominated for an award such as this, further consolidates everyone’s efforts.”
