Westpoint Homes had no doubt about specifying Tobermore products for one of their latest developments, Boclair Gardens in Bearsden, Glasgow, due to the stunning aesthetics of the paving and walling products presented by the Tobermore Scottish Sales team.
Boclair Gardens combine luxurious five and six bedroom detached family homes, constructed and furnished to the highest standards. The homes were designed with a romantic, country-influenced style – in perfect harmony with the iconic Tudor Gothic mansion of Boclair House that is positioned beside the homes, as well as the surrounding Victorian and Edwardian villas and town houses that distinguish the tranquil suburb of Bearsden.
Having worked with Tobermore on many previous housing projects, Westpoint Homes were confident that Tobermore could provide the ideal solution when they were seeking paving and walling products to achieve the traditional look desired for Boclair Gardens.
Following a presentation of a variety of Tobermore products by the Scottish Sales team, Westpoint Homes specified Tobermore products for the entire site at Boclair Gardens.
Tobermore’s Country Stone Walling was selected and was used to create stylish feature areas at the front of each home. Country Stone Walling is a unique product, providing the nostalgic aesthetics of natural stone whilst offering a fast and simple installation process and cost-effectiveness. The incorporation of Country Stone Walling at Boclair Gardens added a certain rustic feel to the homes.
Westpoint Homes also specified Tobermore’s Pedesta, a rectangular block paving product with a smooth finish, for the vehicled areas on site, and Kerbsett, a versatile and decorative product, as a kerbing solution.
Tobermore’s Retro, a tumbled block paving product that produces a vintage cobbled look, was also incorporated with Step Risers to create the perfect step unit to complement the style of each home and the landscape at Boclair Gardens.
Additionally, Westpoint Homes specified Tobermore’s Secura Grand as a retaining walling solution for the sloping land surrounding the site. Secura Grand is a mortar-free, building product that promises a fast and easy installation process. Secura Grand also offers an attractive aged finish, so style is certainly not compromised for the practical advantages gained with the retaining walling product.
