Krispy Kreme has been making doughnuts from a carefully guarded secret recipe since 1937. The food favourite opened its first British outlet at Harrods in October 2003 and is now bringing its fantastic flavours to the UK regions. Ward Insulated Panels came on board to provide an interesting topping to the latest store.
Specified by architects, Loc Associates, the roof was installed by ESK Industrial Roofing using Ward DR1000 secret-fix insulated panels incorporating a FIREsafe Rigid PIR insulation core, fire rated to LPCB standards. Ward DR1000 panels are suitable for roof pitches down to 1.5 degrees as well as wall applications. Contractor, Kevin Campbell, said: “We regularly use tried and tested products from Ward’s range because of their reliability and speed of installation.
“This was a fast build programme for a fast-food outlet and this simple job went ahead without any complications. It was completed well within our timeframe and budget, taking just three weeks from start to finish.”
Established for over 30 years, Ward Insulated Panels is one of the UKs leading manufacturers of composite roof and wall panels.
