Designed by MJP Architects, the new 12,500m2 facility will offer bedrooms for nearly 400 students from September 2016.
The ‘Digby Stuart’ accommodation forms part of a wider £80M masterplan for the University that includes further student residences, landscaping and a state-of-the-art library.

The development is planned around courtyard quadrangles of a collegiate scale and character and uses traditional materials including brick and high-quality precast concrete within a modern architectural language.
The residences and conference suite are part of the University’s 2025 Masterplan, which has also been developed by MJP Architects.

In conjunction with the new library building designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and an extensive landscape scheme by Gross.Max, the MJP designed buildings will provide a new ‘centre of gravity’ for the campus and greatly enhance the image of the University from Roehampton Lane.
Proposals for the student accommodation and conference suite, the library and for the landscaping were granted permission by Wandsworth Council and the Mayor of London last year. The first buildings will be completed in July 2016.
