Ultimate pavement stability with Tobermore’s City Pave VS5

News

Tobermore’s City Pave VS5 is an interlocking block paving system that is designed to operate as a prevention method for pavement shifting in areas that experience heavy vehicular and pedestrian use. The large element 300x150x100mm product is manufactured with shift protection on five sides of the block, including the bottom surface which produces a clawing effect in the pavement bed. This innovation provides continuous protection against shifting from horizontal and vertical loads.

The surface layer of City Pave VS5 is manufactured with sparkling natural granite aggregates that produce a look similar to natural granite. The vibrant, granite finish of the product creates a striking, contemporary look for any application in which it is used. The availability of eight stunning solid and blended colour options also offer a variety of design options with City Pave VS5.

As well as the aesthetic appeal, the surface layer of the product is extremely hard-wearing, improving the overall strength and durability of the product.

Tobermore has supplied City Pave VS5 for a number of public bodies in the UK and Ireland, including Southwark Council, Solihull Council and Brighton and Hove City Council who sought a product that could protect against pavement shifting whilst offering aesthetic appeal for public realm and highway improvement schemes.
