Staff at SIG Design & Technology are celebrating after scooping a hat-trick of awards at the Single Ply Roofing Association (SPRA) Awards Dinner on 20 June.

The awards went to two SIG D&T projects when the winners were announced at the 2018 SPRA Conference at Eastwood Hall in Nottinghamshire.

SIG won the category of Best Refurbishment for its work on an ‘exceptional and unique heritage project requiring outstanding workmanship’; refurbishing the Ogee Dome at an iconic Bristol landmark, the former General Hospital.

Meanwhile, SIG’s expertise with another single ply roofing project, Lymington Shores residential development in Hampshire, earned two more awards – a win for Best Safe Working, and a highly commended in the Best New Construction category.

Mike Crook, Trading Director at SIG Design & Technology, commented:

“We’re delighted to carry off a hat-trick of awards at the 2018 SPRA Conference Awards Dinner. We’re also thrilled to share in this success with our DATAC accredited contractors; Roofworx Ltd and Flat Roofing Membranes, who worked with us on The General Hospital, Bristol and Lymington Shores respectively.

“We work closely in formal partnerships with our accridited contractors to help them win business and to ensure flat roofing installations are completed to the highest quality in accordance with technical standards.”
