The transport team at Tobermore has been recognised at the annual Export & Freight Awards for their commitment to excellence in customer service.
Tobermore were presented with the ‘Top Team of the Year’ award, at a glittering ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast on the 14th September, an event attended by almost 600 guests from all sectors of the transport and logistics industry. The event was compered by the BBC’s Mark Simpson and sponsored by GRN Search Group.
Organised by the Hillsborough based publishers of Export & Freight magazine, 4SM (NI) Ltd, the event is Ireland’s premier platform of recognition for those operating in the industry; it celebrates all the hard work, determination, and ongoing investment that make the industry what it is today.
Tobermore Transport Team, managed by Head of Transport, Philip Whiteside, consists of 10 members, each working together to achieve and maintain an excellent delivery service to their customers. It is a progressive team, highly organised and determined, always adaptable, hardworking, and resilient with a proactive approach to achieve their goals.
The awards judges also picked up on Tobermore’s approach to creating a healthy working environment for its staff, focusing in particular on our inhouse app which gives employees instant access to a wide range of health & wellbeing services.
