The Convent is a unique project set within an English Heritage-designated conservation area, featuring a collection of late 19th century buildings which have been restored and converted, with the addition of a number of new builds added to create 18 homes.
The project is the result of an extensive programme of restoration and development, which required the sensitive preservation of historic architecture and many original features.
Imperial-sized Lightly Weathered Waterstruck bricks by Imperial Bricks were the natural choice for this project, selected for their ability to closely match the original buildings. Their size, colour variations and soft textures, along with their weathered appearance, allow the new build elements to sit comfortably alongside their historical neighbours.
