Since its launch two years ago, gt green-tree has gone from strength to strength and is now well specified across the construction industry. gt green-tree is a BS 3882 topsoil, produced from sustainable, recycled materials. With growth in mind for gt green-tree, Green-tech are looking to fill a new vacancy for a Business Development Manager.
gt green-tree is an award-winning topsoil, manufactured using organic compost, processed green garden matter and overburdened sand from quarries, all products which would otherwise hit landfill. The topsoil is a highly fertile and organic-rich material, compliant to BS 3882 standard. As a manufactured topsoil, it provides consistency, unlike other “soils”, as each load is guaranteed a constant quality.
“gt green-tree topsoil has been well received by the industry from landscape architects & main contractors specifying the soil to domestic housing developments and hospitals. We have expanded production in the last eighteen months from one to four sites and the potential for this sustainable topsoil is huge. As well as looking at other production sites, we are also looking for a Business Development Manager to take the business forward.” said Managing Director for Green-Tech, Richard Kay. “The product is proven, specified and in growing demand, the Business Development position is a natural progression to expand the portfolio and of course sales! The role requires a background in soils, aggregates or regeneration and will focus on developing opportunities through new channels.”
gt green-tree topsoil is available from a range of locations across the UK. Currently produced in four locations (and available across the UK), plans are in place to expand the manufacturing locations across a wider UK base, reducing transport carbon miles. The product is suitable for all landscape, construction and general gardening purposes.
