Sustainable soil website launch

5 Nov 2007
News
Green-tech have just launched a new website for the gt green-tree sustainable topsoil product range. The website (www.green-tree.co.uk) aims to support specifiers and contractors alike in their choice of topsoil for landscaping solutions.

gt green-tree is an award-winning topsoil, manufactured using organic compost, processed green garden matter and overburdened sand from quarries, all products which would otherwise hit landfill. The topsoil is a highly fertile and organic-rich material, compliant to BS 3882 standard, requiring no additional fertiliser for the first season, contains zero stones and has good water retention properties. Also as a manufactured topsoil, it provides consistency, unlike other “soils”, as each load is a guaranteed constant quality.

www.green-tree.co.uk has been launched to provide information for specifiers and contractors. It shows past case studies and testimonials of major clients, as well as soil testing reports. A range of specifications are also being developed and will appear on the site soon.

gt green-tree topsoil is available from a range of locations across the UK. Currently produced in four locations (and available across the UK), plans are in place to expand the manufacturing locations across a wider UK base, reducing transport carbon miles. The product is suitable for all landscape, construction and general gardening purposes
