A client contacted The Bamboo Flooring Company with a remit of low cost, durable flooring that would create a light, bright and spacious appearance to newly converted residential studio apartments in central London. They also required the flooring to be eco-friendly and sustainable to meet with the necessary building standards. ‘Uniclic Strand Woven Bamboo Flooring – Natural’ was the obvious choice as it is more than twice as hard as Oak flooring; made from bamboo which is an environmentally friendly and sustainable material; and the natural colour of bamboo offers pale, golden and blonde tones that help to form an airy and spacious effect.
The bamboo flooring was used in open plan spaces, including kitchens, through double doorways and on stair cases. The client also used Strand Woven Bamboo Stair Nosing in Natural to complement the choice of flooring and add finishing touches to the apartments.
The client was extremely happy that the ‘Uniclic Strand Woven Bamboo Flooring – Natural’ matched all the initial requirements of the project and adds a luxurious and inviting appeal to the converted apartments.
