St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Baddesley Clinton, Warwickshire was built in 1793. It had a renovation and rebuild and in 2020 saw the completion of the church’s redecoration using KEIM paint.
Bryan Roe, Senior Sales Executive of KEIM, visited the church at the beginning of 2020 and met with Martin Earle, the talented Royal College of Art, Masters degree graduate muralist, who had already applied KEIM Innostar and KEIM Optil as base paints. Bryan discussed and arranged samples for KEIM Design Lasur to be sent for Martin to trial.
Martin Earle was very impressed with the product and said “it’s great stuff”.
The murals were intricately painted with scenes from salvation history and their aim is to give visual expression to the invisible realities of the liturgy. In total around 40 angels, prophets and saints were depicted, along with numerous animals in the sanctuary.
