SIKA INTRODUCES ITS LATEST FAST-SETTING, HIGH-STRENGTH MORTAR
Sika has launched a cementitious floor levelling mortar for the rapid, high-strength bonding of internal and external screeds.
SikaScreed® Rapid-75 is a high-performance external/internal floor solution for forming ramps. It’s also ideal for levelling or raising concrete floors at a thickness between 12 – 75mm, and capable of achieving 35N/mm2 in 24 hours. Over-coatable with high abrasion and comprehensive strength, this polymer-modified mortar is shrinkage-compensated; a significant benefit that reduces the risk of cracking.
SikaScreed® Rapid-75 is pre-bagged for quality; therefore users need only add water to create a quality, high early strength screed. As well as its rapid-setting properties, SikaScreed® Rapid-75 contains no chloride admixtures.
SikaScreed® Rapid-75 is useable as screed for industrial service conditions on its own, but particularly when sealed with a PU or EP resin top coat from medium-to-high load (heavy-traffic + forklift pallet truck with impact load). As a hallmark of its performance, SikaScreed® Rapid-75 is CT-C70-F6-A1 approved according to EN 13813 declaration of performance 16232814. It also carries CE marking.
