Both Lucas Fit Out & Finishing, and the ProTools ProFinish paintbrush developed by the company, have been shortlisted for Mixology15 Awards organised by Mix Interiors Magazine.
Lucas as a well established fit out and finishing specialist to the construction industry that provides a complete range of decorative and protective coatings services has been shortlisted for the category Fit-Out Company of the Year
One of the company’s philosophies is: ‘To be true to our values, aims and principles.’ Lucas also aims to be indispensable to its clients by providing a service that is second to none, and to always go ‘the extra mile’.
This commitment to the industry has been recognised with the Mixology 15 nomination, and as managing director Danny Lucas states: “We feel it reflects our dedication and rewards our strong bonds with our customers.”
Lucas has a blue-chip client list, and a long list of prestigious projects with which it has been associated. These include Heathrow Terminal 5, the O2, and the London 2012 Olympic Stadium. Currently, Fit Out and Finishing work is being carried out at a number of projects including BSkyB in west London, Nova Victoria and Southbank Tower.
Also in the running for an award: Product of the Year – Interior Accessories is the recently introduced Lucas ProFinish paintbrush. This brush defies convention with its 21st century design and radical alternatives to traditional brush manufacture. Filaments are made from a synthetic mix called Chinex, developed by DuPont and performs fantastically when cutting in and leaving the perfect brush finish desired by interior designers. Lucas has won a number of awards in past years, but this in no way dilutes the excitement everyone within the company feels for these latest nominations.
Mixology15 is to take place on THURSDAY 25th JUNE at Old Billingsgate London and marks the 10th anniversary of the Summer Ball & Awards
