For the £8.5m revamp of Rotherham Central Station, ICB supplied a comprehensive solar PV system for the stunning curved roof of the main entrance building. To achieve the targeted BREEAM accreditation of ‘very good’, the project sourced local materials, incorporated a rainwater harvesting system together with the ICB solar PV system and Evalon® V single ply membrane.
The new Rotherham Central Station was officially opened by Transport Secretary Justine Greening in July 2012.
