In 2010 The Bamboo Flooring Company were approached to supply a brand new Rocket Restaurant in Canary Wharf, London, with 200 square metres of flooring for the main entrance, dining area and bar in their new restaurant. They required a flooring material that was exceptionally hard wearing and had a distinct appeal to add individuality and personality to their restaurant.
It was decided that ‘Uniclic Strand Woven Bamboo Flooring – Rustic Carbonised’ was the perfect choice for them as strand woven bamboo flooring is one of the hardest natural flooring materials around and the carbonised rustic effect offers a distinctive appearance while adding character and charm to their dining room and bar area. The strand woven bamboo flooring was glued down using Sika Bond AT-80 to reduce the chance of movement in such a popular and busy establishment.
