Origine Premier offers an expansive palette of 4 natural feel plain colours and 27 woodgrain effects, covering all major species in design-oriented shades varying from the fashionably light through to the rich and exotic. There are three new woodgrains, Chêne Québec, Erable Cendré and Ēbène, especially developed to emulate the market’s three best selling real wood veneers.
Origine Premier centres around three themes of Precious Luxury, Rough Design and Classic Modernity. Compiled by Polyrey’s European design department, Origine Premier distinguishes itself as a top-end woodgrain range by drawing together natural colour tone, woodgrain figuring and the clever use of existing and new surface textures to offer a host of upscale finishes that are a realistic alternative to wood veneers, with the added advantage of colour consistency.
The beauty of Origine Premier lies in the sophistication and quality of the high definition print, coupled with surface textures that accentuate the aesthetics of the product in looks and feel. Epimat is the improved version of Polyrey’s popular EPI texture with softer and more regular lines with a low reflective quality ideal for woodgrains, while Bati texture combined with 4 natural colours emulates rough cut wood. Extra Matt texture goes one step further and is more reminiscent of wood in its rustic state. For something more subtle, Grain offers a silkier, smoother texture. And for those who like the beauty of highly lacquered woods, there is the popular option of High Gloss.
