Polycor's Valérie Bergeron talks to us about sustainability and stone

Film

We don't often have the chance to hear from the individuals and companies extracting the raw material that make our built environment.

Yet, if we are to achieve net-zero carbon construction, we need to consider the embodied carbon of a project, and the calculations begin at the raw material stage. The primary sector is a crucial part of the conversation on how we can build in a more socially responsible and environmentally sustainable way.

In this short film Valérie Bergeron, European Director of Business Development for natural stone quarrier Polycor, shares why natural stone should be specified for projects and the key messages of The New Stone Age exhibition.
