20 Oct 2006
News
Applied Energy, manufacturer of the Redring, Creda, Xpelair and Stiebel Eltron brands, has increased its application design service for all products to help customers through the minefield of the new Parts L & F of the building regulation.

The company is able to help new and existing customers when specifying into real buildings and live projects, whether off-plan, commenced new build or planned refurbishment to meet Parts L & F of the building regulations, Eco-Homes, SAP targets and most other regulations and legislation.

There is a comprehensive range of design services for all existing and potential customers - from simple product selection through to full service with compliance consultancy for building regulations. With the recent proliferation of environmental legislation and revisions to building regulations, all designed to reduce carbon impact and improve energy efficiency, the design service helps ensure that applied energy customers are making the best specification choices. Whether demonstrating full compliance for modern electric heating from Creda, or leading edge Solar Thermal or water heating from Redring; Heat-Pumps from Stiebel Eltron or high performance mechanical ventilation with heat-recovery from Xpelair; Applied Energy now combines the full product offering with a design service to meet every need.

Three levels of service are available – Standard, Enhanced and Consultancy. The entry level, Standard service is free of charge and offers an indication of products required and the costs, all of which can be taken from simple drawings.

Enhanced service incurs a nominal charge, and provides the Standard design service as well as schematic diagrams and confirmation of regulatory compliance including ~ Part L of the building regulations. Full architectural drawings are necessary to deliver the Enhanced service.

Finally, the level three Consultancy service supports the customer through the entire design and compliance process. The service delivers the Enhanced design service plus direct access to a senior designer and provision of all necessary certification and drawings up to completion of the project. A competitive charge is attached to the service, which is dependant upon property size and complexity.
