Building on the success of its Alupanel range, Panel Systems has launched an innovative new insulated aluminium panel with a grooved face as an infill panel for glazing applications.
Alupanel GP features aesthetically pleasing horizontal or vertical grooves to the external face that add a decorative effect for door and glazing infill panels. These are typically used in domestic glazing, commercial buildings, conservatories and porches.
Grooves are 9.5mm wide x 0.4mm deep and set 100mm apart as standard, however bespoke groove dimensions are available.
The panels are manufactured from 2mm polyester powder coated aluminium, which is bonded to both faces of a rigid Styrofoam core. Styrofoam has unrivalled mechanical strength and low thermal conductivity, whilst its closed cell structure means it will not absorb moisture. Alupanel GP offers excellent thermal performance, achieving U values as low as 0.79 W/m2K.
Alupanel GP offers strong aesthetics, high performance and durability. It is manufactured by Panel Systems using state-of-the-art equipment, which ensures exacting tolerances, simplifying the fabrication and installation process for contractors and installers.
The grooves can be laid horizontally or vertically, and these innovative, lightweight panels are available as standard in white, or in any RAL colour, with bespoke groove sizes. In addition, the company can manufacture Alupanel GP in any panel size or thickness.

Alupanel GP’s standard panel sizes are 2000mm x 1000mm, 2500mm x 1250mm and 3000mm x 1250mm, with bespoke sizes available on request. These panels are capable of achieving a U value of 1.10 w/m2k, based on 28mm thick panels.
