The NSG Group, owner of the Pilkington brand, will be exhibiting innovative new products for energy-efficiency, solar control and decorative applications at Glasstec in Dusseldorf from 23 – 26 of October.
Its stand will feature Pilkington Super Spacia™, the latest addition to its range of ultra-thin energy-efficient vacuum insulated glass unit (IGU) products, popular in heritage applications. The product has the lowest Ug-value (equal to 0.7 W/m2K) of all Pilkington Spacia™ products.
The NSG Group will also be demonstrating a range of new solar control glass. This includes Pilkington Suncool™ Dynamic, a thermochromic laminated safety glass, which adapts to the changing weather outside, powered by Suntuitive®. Pilkington Suncool™ Q 60/25, a neutral superior solar control glass with high colour stability and low reflection, will be on show at the stand too.
The manufacturer’s advanced mirror product ranges will also be featured, including the Pilkington MirroView™ range of digital display mirrors used for concealing screens when they are turned off – which feature touchscreen functionality – and the recently launched Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome range of humidity and corrosion resistant mirrors which can be toughened.
Kristian Chalmers, strategic marketing manager for Europe at Pilkington United Kingdom Limited, said: “We’ve been investing heavily in developing our product range to provide increased choice to architects and product specifiers, and to grow the amount of applications where glass can be used in everyday life.
“We’re excited to showcase these latest innovations, alongside our conceptual products and prototypes. These will offer visitors to our stand a flavour of where we’re taking advanced glass with the help of new technologies, from glass with anti-graffiti coating to the latest developments in building integrated photovoltaics.”
