London, 14 September 2010 - With energy prices set to increase and as the efficiency debate continues, electrical wholesalers Newey & Eyre has teamed up with a leading manufacturer of energy efficient products, Schneider Electric, to help customers to tackle the problem.
Schneider Electric has outlined a four step approach to give contractors, energy managers and end users guidance to help understand their energy usage, to help encourage energy efficient practices and solutions, while identifying monitoring and efficiency opportunities.
Newey & Eyre stocks many of Schneider Electric’s core energy efficient products and the four step collaboration will help to strengthen their shared views on the key messages for energy efficiency. Products stocked and included in their energy efficient lighting range include energy efficient bulkhead lights, downlights, light bulbs, fluorescent light fittings. A detailed guide has been created to provide customers with an understanding of how to lower their energy consumption while helping to minimise costs, with the focus being on both commercial and domestic usage.
The core elements included in the four steps guide are highlighted as subheadings to Measure, Fix the Basics, Automate, Monitor and Improve. The four steps are positioned as easy processes, with suggestions made to help customers adopt a manageable approach to energy efficiency, while incorporating Schneider Electric’s products to offer one integrated solution for end users.
Furthermore, the partnership has been formed to help businesses identify and implement energy efficient solutions in the knowledge that the government will be applying more legislation to drive carbon reduction to meet the Kyoto Targets for 2020.
