Ultra Tile, British adhesive and grout brand from the Instarmac Group, is delighted to announce the launch of a new fibre enhanced S2 adhesive, and floor leveller.
Following nationwide success of FibreGrip FX (launched earlier this year), ProFlex S2 and Level IT FX are being introduced this month, creating a unique range of fibre reinforced products.
ProFlex S2 is a single part, flexible, fibre reinforced adhesive for wall and floor tiles. Classified as an S2 the product boasts the ultimate in flexibility making it suitable for areas where slight movement or vibration can occur, including timber floors and floors with underfloor heating. Rest assured that using this product will provide you with ultimate confidence when working with problematic tiling materials.
In addition, it is formulated with a C2 F performance for rapid setting properties and increased cement. The product may be used internally or externally. ProFlex S2 can be laid at bed thicknesses from 3-20mm; it has a pot life of 40 minutes and sets within 3.5 hours. It is also suitable for use on swimming pool installations.
New fibre fortified, Level IT FX is a single part concrete floor leveller featuring our specially formulated fibre technology. This high strength, rapid curing and drying cementitious smoothing and levelling compound provides a strong, sound and even base.
Level IT FX is polymer modified for flexibility, protein free, shrinkage compensated and suitable for use with underfloor heating and pump machines. The product can be laid at depths from 3-75mm, has an open time of 20-30 minutes and sets within 2-3 hours.

Using fibres in the formulations for both products enhances each, aiding their capabilities. The added fibres provide reinforcement helping to prevent damage or failure from cracking. What’s more, ProFlex S2 also offers reinforced body creating thixotropic behaviour. ProFlex S2 is available in 20kg bags, in either white or grey. Level IT FX is sold in 25kg bags.
