Extending their already comprehensive range of automatic door operators, TORMAX has launched the iMotion 2302 sliding door drive. Filling a gap in the market, the 2302 has an especially narrow installation height of just 150mm, making it slender enough to blend seamlessly into the façade of almost any building.
Tried and tested in busy locations worldwide, TORMAX iMotion technology was launched just over 5 years ago and delivers one of the most comprehensive door drive solutions available on the market today. With product development a high priority at the HQ in Switzerland the new iMotion 2302 successfully delivers a reduced-height operator, allowing a truly minimalist automatic entrance to be created.
All iMotion operators are almost entirely manufactured using recyclable materials which coupled with exceptionally low-energy operation makes TORMAX a sustainable solution in the long-term. Significantly reducing maintenance requirements and down-time, the high torque synchronous motors have none of the parts that usually need replacing such as brushes and gears whilst a health and safety self-monitoring system automatically makes necessary alterations in performance or signals an alert.
The successor to the iMotion 2301 sliding door drive the 2302 is suitable for standard or special applications with increased door leaf weights of up to 180kgs. Modular by design, expanding any iMotion door system is straightforward and cost-effective as requirements changed and all operators have been tested to DIN EN 18650 / EN16005 (1 million cycles with 4000 cycles/day) and meet all current CE and RoHS requirements.
