The British Ceramic Confederation’s Health & Safety Pledge Conference is an annual event designed to share best practice across ceramic manufacturing & recognize achievement within the industry.
A group of employees from Naylor Drainage attended the conference in Stoke-on-Trent & were awarded certificates in 5 separate categories– including Naylor’s Jamie Nixon who won an individual award.
Naylor were particularly thrilled to win the overall award– the Pledge Award of Excellence for overall progress in Health & Safety. Naylor’s Environment, Health & Safety Director Keren McBratney commented “my team have worked exceptionally hard through the pandemic to keep everyone safe and provide wellbeing support in areas such as mental health, and we’re delighted to receive this external recognition of our efforts”. Naylor CEO Edward Naylor added “it has been a most challenging 18 months but the work done by Keren and her team- including Jesse Taylor, a former apprentice of ours- has been exceptional and we are very proud”
