MHG Heating has introduced the Teleheat range of heat interface units (HIUs) for provision of heating and domestic hot water (DHW) in spaces served by a centralised energy centre and district heating system.
They incorporate an integral electronic controller, temperature sensors, mixing valve and circulating pump to ensure accurate temperature monitoring. There is also a hot water pre-heat function for instantaneous DHW in the summer when space heating demands are low. Other design features include hot water priority, gradual warm-up for the heating circuit and a pump and valve exercise program to reduce standstill seizure.
The units can also be supplied with M Bus connectable heat and/or water meters and have remote BMS interfacing capability.
Teleheat units are designed for wall mounting and are available with either single or twin plate heat exchangers in DHW capacities of 39kW, 45kW and 48kW and space heating capacities up to 18kW. The single plate heat exchanger version is used to hydraulically separate the DHW from the central primary circuit, with the heating circuit being supplied directly from the central primary circuit. The twin plate heat exchanger version provides hydraulic separation of both DHW and heating circuit from the central primary circuit.
