Lomax + Wood high performance wooden windows and doors are manufactured from knotless wood for added strength, stability and durability. The factory-finished paint system is applied by spraying and is microporous allowing the wood to breathe. All frames are factory finished with all hardware including Espanolette locks. For safety reasons, the wooden windows and doors are double or triple glazed inside. All have been independently tested to achieve PAS 24 2016, BS 6375 Parts 1, 2 and 3.
Lomax + Wood is committed to sourcing from sustainable sources. To this end, we have worked hard to achieve FSC® In-Process Control, considered by many to be the gold standard for the environment. This work was carried out in cooperation with BM TRADA. BM TRADA is also considered a hallmark of quality in the industry. FSC® chain of custody is not the same as a wood window or door supplier who provides FSC® documentation for wood only. The Lomax + Wood FSC® chain of custody ensures that the wood is his FSC®, from the source to the installation site where Lomax + Wood requires on-site assembly. This is within our certification.
